Jasmine Graham,- Centralia Wa
Our family and the community is deeply saddened by the untimely death of our beloved Jasmine Graham who tragically lost her life at the age of 23 on Saturday July 13th. Jasmine was a cherished daughter, cousin, friend and coworker.
Her sudden departure has left our family and her friends in profound grief. Jasmine was A dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA) at the local hospital here, where she provided compassionate care
Jasmine also deeply loved her kitty and making amazing baby alive dolls.
Jasmine had been battling health issues due to diabetes and courageously shared her story in a heartfelt Facebook post detailing her struggles. It all began with a accessed tooth which let to DKA Diabetic keto Acidosis. Despite multiple hospitol stays, her condition continued to deteriate, cultivating in her passing. Her last month was marked by multiple hospitol stays due to low blood pressure, being found several times unresponsive, low blood sugar like 12, Brady cardia and grand Mal seizure.
In the wake of our tragic loss I have organized this fundraiser to lay Jasmine to rest properly, beautifully like she deserves as well as help out of state family come pay their respects and grieve.
We have added we are attempting to pay Jasmine's car off to give to her loving sister Summer. Summer found Jasmine, performed CPR along with her mother trying everything to bring her back. We would be honored to be able to give her a peice of her sister back, and she so needs this.
We could never have gotten this far with all the help from the community. We love you all!
May you rest in peace sweet girl. You fought so hard for your life.
We truly appreciate all the love and support.
Jasmine's story below.
How the month of June went for me Hoping July is better. I'm thankful for everyone who helped me while I was stuck in the hospital, and for everyone who visited or checked up on me during my long stays, and thankful for everyone who took care of me. I'm surrounded by a lot of amazing family and friends For anyone wondering what happened I mentioned it in the pictures
Started with an abscess tooth went into DKA
IV infiltrated, swollen arm to match my swollen face
Had high blood pressure that wouldn't go down. Was there 7 days my first stay from the abscess and then was discharged
Went back this time for low blood pressure. While I stayed there my blood sugar dropped to 29 and I went unresponsive. Stayed there for 4 days and was discharged again.
Round 2 for low B/P it got down to 59/29 this time. They thought I had a complete heart block. Got transferred to another hospital to talk to a cardiologist about possibly getting a pacemaker. Didn't end up getting one because they said it wasn't a heart block it was bradycardia competing junctional heart rhythm. This time during my stay my blood sugar dropped to 12 and I had a grand Mal seizure.
Central line for the 2 pressures I was put on for the pressors I was put on for my blood pressure
O2 dropping from pneumonia (91% was with 4 liters of oxygen) stayed for a total of 8 days this go round before being discharged.... And hoping that I'm done with hospital stays for a while
Fly high sweet angel
