Support Jennifer's Accessible Camino Journey

Imagine having the heart of an adventure and a lifelong dream but also having limitations that hold you back.That's where stories like "I'll Push You" come in. This inspiring book and documentary chronicle the incredible journey of two best friends--one confined to a wheelchair. This amazing duo journey together to complete the 500-mile pilgrimage of the Camino de Santiago. Their story not only ignited my wanderlust but also resonated deeply.

It reminded me of my amazing cousin Alva, a single mother who raised two sons, Noah and Jed, both diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Witnessing her unwavering love and care as she became a nurse to provide for them throughout their lives left a permanent mark on me. Alva's strength and perseverance in the face of such challenges inspire me to this day.

Thankfully, the "I'll Push You" organization created the Accessible Camino program, making this legendary pilgrimage possible for everyone. Through this program, "pushers" can assist those with limited mobility, allowing them to experience the full Camino journey.

And guess what? Out of 180 applicants, I was chosen to be a "pusher" for the Accessible Camino! This June, I'll be part of a team guiding 6 individuals on the final 100km of the Portuguese route.

The Camino is more than a walk; it's a transformative journey of self-discovery, cultural immersion, and profound connection. But to make this dream a reality, I need your help.
