Support John's Children in Their Time of Need

It is with great sadness that I share that my brother, John Domalis, passed away on June 13th at the age of 48. On behalf of his four children, I have set up this fund to help with the funeral costs and final expenses of settling his estate. As many of you know John fought a very brave fight against end-stage renal disease for several years. Last Thursday evening he passed peacefully in his sleep in the comfort of his home.

John touched so many lives with his positive attitude and encouraging spirit. John could have complained about many things but he did not even while undergoing intense dialysis three times a week, having had two amputations, multiple hospitalizations, in addition to countless other medical procedures. He faced these challenges with quiet strength and instead, he was always most concerned with the happiness of others.

The greatest joy of his life was his beloved four kids. Prior to having children, one of John’s biggest dreams was to become a father and once he did become a father, taking care of his children was his highest priority. He was immensely proud of them, and very much wanted to see them flourish as adults. The possibility that perhaps his medical challenges may not allow him to do that made him inconsolably sad.

I’m sharing my brother’s story with the utmost humility on behalf of his children to request help for his funeral expenses and settling his estate. We are lovingly asking that you share whatever you can as we prepare to lay John in eternal peace. Any unused proceeds from this fundraiser will be distributed directly to his children Dominick (26), Derrick (18), Karleigh (14), and Kenadee (10).
