Support Kathy's Journey After Loss

Hi this is Kathy Wallace, most just call me Kathy, I'm glad for any help you can give me. My husband of 53 years was abruptly brought to an end this last weekend (Sunday, May 19th, 2024)

Warren Wallace who was known by everyone as Skip was diagnosed with Demetia and Dysphasia, he would become speechless and after a stroke he was practically disabled physically. He was able to walk but not without his walker, my point is that he was a burden to endure but my love for him is boundless, afterall he's my best friend and my love. In his dementia unbeknownst to me he had canceled all of our life insurances and was burning all of the personal documents, mine and his, even our son's important documents. (Birth certificates, Marine DD-214, etc. etc.) He wasn't able to finish as I was able to stop him, but a lot of damage had been done. I called back all the insurances he had to see if we could recover them, but sadly were denied. His homecare would exhaust any money we had left from our social security checks and still wasn't enough. We lived literally paycheck to paycheck rotating each bill that wasn't getting paid to every other month on a lot of them, gradually getting further and further behind. Having to buy his medical supplies kept a chokehold on our finances, and now that he's passed, I'm left almost financially bankrupt and there isn't even enough to now provide a burial. Life is going to be much harder now for sure, but mourning over losing my loved best friend is overwhelming and now I have to worry about what's owed tomorrow and days to come.
