Support Kristen's Beautiful, Final Rest.

Hello everybody, My name is Shayla Montgomery , Niece of Kristen Kennedy.

I am incredibly sad to have to make such a heart wrenching post, but we need as much help as we can get !! Sadly , On may 13th, at approximately 10:17 pm , she passed away . This is about 6 days after her surgery for the trach in her throat. We talked and she felt good, and then not even a week later she was gone. At the ending stages of her life, having it be that the only thing keeping her alive was a machine to breath , she couldn’t talk really at all, so her health declining so fast was shocking to everybody, because she was not really communicating. She couldn’t. Words cannot remotely even express how we feel, the amount of anger and the pain of having a broken heart is undescribable. I wish so badly she could’ve experienced a life outside of COPD, and crippling illnesses back to back to back , Without ever saying a word. That girl was and is a soldier. That is why I want her being laid to rest to be as beautiful as it can be , for one time in her life I want something to work out for this girl and with how expensive it is , I’m afraid we will not be able to make it as beautiful as it is supposed to be, and in all honesty, we are so afraid of it not being good enough for someone who was TOO good enough even for this world, I do not want to let her down. I am asking for help because all we want, is to give her something that her beautiful soul will love . So I am creating this in a very desperate time to ask friends and family of hers, and even people that don’t know her to share share share! Because anything helps, ANYTHING ! Anyone who knew kristen, knows she was very intelligent , full of love & so much light. One thing I can tell you about that woman is she never let herself feel sorry for herself, EVER. Despite surgeries ,hospital trips , oxygen machines , etc.. the list goes on. But she did not want to complain, the only thing she worried about was worrying others. That girl is the most selfless person I know, and all I want is to for her to be surrounded by love and to be laid to rest beautifully like she deserves. I want to celebrate her life in all the ways she could not. I am so ashamed she was dealt the cards that she was in this lifetime, I wished nothing more than for her to have a chance to live, to actually live... She made a life out of being in hospitals because that’s all she knew. When you’re sick your whole life, it becomes something you just have to live with , it’s insufferable and I am so sad that she could not one time in her life actually just take a breath and feel REAL relief . I do not think it’s fair for someone’s life to end when they have been fighting for it, their ENTIRE life. My aunt is 36 years old, So much life left to live and just like that someone is gone. Please cherish your loved ones and don’t take a second for granted. I wish I could go back and do everything different but I know that I cannot, and I will try to find peace, knowing that you’re finally over the rainbow. Rest easy my beautiful sweet girl.

So again, that is why I’m creating this go fund me ! PLEASE anyone who could even just simply share is so appreciated, as said before! And I hope to raise at least half of our goal, due to expenses and everything that’s already going on, everything is in shambles. We were not prepared for you to leave us, so now I am asking for help to raise money, for my Aunt Kristen’s final and last rest. please please please share and every dollar counts,In a stressful time of need! all we want to do is make this right for her! thank you to everyone who took the time to read this and I appreciate every single one of your condolences, Along with my family as well. With broken hearts, we will put together something almost as beautiful as where she is. thank you to any and everyone !!
