Support KRR's mission to empower refugee women

The Kurdish Refugee Relief Foundation is a non-profit organization established in San Diego, California by Kurdish-American women committed to empowering the voice of vulnerable refugee women. KRR is the first NGO to address the menstrual health gap in a sustainable manner in the Kurdistan region’s refugee camps. More than 1.2 billion women don't have access to menstrual products worldwide, and those most vulnerable are emergency-displaced women and girls in refugee camps. Our survey on the ground concluded that the women often had to share used rags due to financial constraints and lack of accessibility. In a commitment to our mission statement, we are currently pursuing sustainable options, including micro-factories and reusable period underwear.

Please support KRR’s mission to mitigate the menstrual hygiene equity gap among refugee women in the Kurdistan region. In order for KRR to access the required resources and partners to execute its sustainable initiatives, we must register as an official organization through the Kurdish Regional Government. The funds raised will go towards our registration fees and sustainable endeavors, such as consistent distribution of dignity kits [pads, wipes, pain medication, informational flyers] and period underwear.
