No doubt we are in tough times. We are facing challenges never seen before. Everyone in some way has been affected by COVID-19. People are laid off. Businesses are struggling. Everyone is strained. Some more than others.
Ohio Township Police in cooperation with Chev and Rachels Diner (Emsworth) would like to come together and provide a small gesture of kindness. On a date yet to be announced, breakfast will be provided to a family in need. Families that would rather stay home can choose to have the meals delivered.
If you are in a position where you can support local businesses and help a family in need, please consider donating to the cause. If you cannot, we certainly understand. For those who are looking for a way to pay it forward, we hope you consider this as an option.
At this time, the initiative is only for the patrol area of Ohio Township Police.
