628.24 update. Our beloved Lucinda has made her journey, peacefully passing last evening surrounded by loving family.

Calling hours will be posted here once determined.

Family appreciates all loving support, funds donated will al be used for Lucinda’s memorial as well as multitude of medical bills.

Lucinda is comfortable surrounded by family at this time. Family is very appreciative of the outpouring love for Lu.

Honoring Lucinda: Support for Lucinda and her family.

We would like to set up this as family friends to benefit Lucinda and her family.

Funds will be used to honor Lucinda’s wishes to spend her remaining days in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and friends, as well as funeral costs.

Lucinda started a long hard battle of stage IV bladder cancer. With many hills to climb for survival Lucinda armed with passion for life and positivity under went chemo, transfusions, periods of hydration needs, multiple infections, numerous surgeries and procedures with many set backs through months of battle the day came, LUCINDA KICKED CANCERS BUTT! May started so many new dreams for life and living, returning to work and looking forward to marrying her fiancée in the summer.

Lucinda at the end of May was not feeling well, back to the hospital to start a new battle, a very aggressive form of cancer. Mets to her lungs and abdominal linings, 6 tumors, bouts of cdiff and UTIs and then 3 DVTS in her arms. The battle was faced by Lucinda again with grace, dignity and positivity. Unfortunately there is not option for surgery, chemo or radiation. One 6.24.24 Lucinda along side of her fiancée, sons and mom opted for hospice. To go home for her remaining days in comfort surrounded by family and friends.

Insurance doesn’t cover 24/7 support, never mind the funeral costs.

Lucinda has a heart made of gold has never given up her fight for life. Our hopes is to take some of the burden off the family to provide some care for Lucinda and be able to hold a beautiful celebration of her life when she is called home.
