Madeleine Lizama, born in Tamuning, Guam in 1957, was the oldest of nine siblings and a devoted nurturer throughout her entire life. She had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel welcome, often opening her home and heart to family members in times of need. Her cooking was unparalleled, bringing joy and comfort to all who had the pleasure of sharing a meal with her. Madeleine’s radiant smile will forever be cherished and remembered by those who knew her.

Madeleine's love for music, especially Elvis, filled her home with warmth and joy. She adored her babies, and everyone who got to know her always felt so loved and cherished.

Over the past month, Madeleine's health unexpectedly deteriorated significantly, leading to several hospital visits. On May 30, 2024, she entered hospice care at her son Jacob's home, surrounded by the love and support of her family. After a brave three-year battle with congestive heart failure, Madeleine passed away on June 6, 2024. She leaves behind her loving husband, two devoted sons, and three beautiful grandchildren.
