Support Matthew Swinehart's Road To Recovery.

Close family and friends of Matthew Swinehart are fundraising on behalf of his critical injuries he sustained in a recent motorcycle accident on August 25th on route 322 in Elizabeth Township that has left him on a long journey to recovery. Matthew was critically injured where he required to be in ICU in the Hershey Trauma Unit and has had to undergo several surgeries due to his many injuries.

Matthew was riding a motorcycle and someone pulled out in front of him leaving him little time to redirect before impact. Matthew sustained broken ribs, punctured lung, abdominal injury, vertebra fractures, a badly broken arm requiring complete reconstruction needing plates and screws, skin grafts, etc, and most devastating, a loss of a limb.

Matthew’s family will surely have so much to endure in the near future. We first ask you continue to cover this family in prayer for strength and healing as they begin to navigate this new journey. To help ease the financial burden with the loss of his income, his wife’s temporary loss of income to transport him to and from therapy and doctor appointments, mortgage payments, child care, the supplies he will need to adapt to his new forever changed lifestyle such as grab bars, medications, ramps and so much more, we are looking to raise $35,000 to help his family during this very difficult time.
