Support Matthew's Final Journey

Our beloved Matthew (Matthew Robert Lix II) passed away on June 13, 2024. To many he was a compassionate mechanic with an incredible heart and could fix anything. Yet, at the same time Matty was a son, brother, uncle, best friend, and my soulmate whom I was blessed to share the past of two decades of my life with. He had a knack for seeing the best in everyone, lending a helping hand, never quick to judge, and brought joy as well as our basset hounds (i.e. Baxter, Myles, Daisy, Violet) wherever he went. To say that he will be missed is an incredible understatement. As a God fearing man, his invincible strength, free spirit, moral ethics, ambition, and intellect could easily be recognized; to have that swiftly taken away has been unrelentingly devastating.

Overall, this GoFund Me has been established to cover the costs associated with his viewing burial, as well as donation fees for card transactions, familial expenses, and additional charges when transferring the funds raised.

It goes without saying that all donations are sincerely appreciated. Furthermore, please please please keep us in your prayers as we navigate this tragedy.
