Around the World. Supporting Middlesbrough Children Fund.

Donation protected
Introduction:

In a quest to help transform the lives of children in Middlesbrough, Ian is completing an incredible journey: walking the equivalent of the circumference of the world - 24,901 miles in less than ten years. His mission is simple: to raise vital funds to support young children who need it most.

Living in Middlesbrough for the past fifty-five years, Ian has dedicated much of his life to education. Throughout his experiences, he has witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by children in our community, particularly those in disadvantaged circumstances. Ian firmly believes that every child deserves access to essential resources, a nurturing environment, and opportunities to thrive. As he concludes this ambitious journey, he calls for your financial support to make a difference in these young lives.

Your donations to this fund will provide critical and urgent resources and support for the well-being of Middlesbrough's children. Every step Ian takes brings us closer to creating a brighter future for these young individuals.

Join Ian on this extraordinary journey to uplift the lives of Middlesbrough's children - one step at a time.

We sincerely appreciate your support and invite you to follow his progress as he completes his epic 24,901-mile journey on Wednesday June 12th, 2024, 1030am in Albert Park.

Thank you for believing in the potential of Middlesbrough's children and for being a part of this life-changing mission.

Why are we doing this?

This fund's purpose is straightforward: to benefit children, nothing more, nothing less.

In the 1970s, Ian faced financial struggles as a young parent. Like many of us, he relied on his family's support to provide for his children. Most families work this way, but not everyone has access to such support networks.

While some low-income families receive financial assistance, many still struggle to make ends meet due to various challenges, such as balancing work, childcare, and household responsibilities. It is crucial to remember that children should not suffer due to their parents' circumstances.

Compassion and understanding are essential in this fundraising effort. Our focus is on the well-being of children in our community and the belief that all children deserve a full belly, warm clothing, and waterproof shoes.

Each and every donation will directly contribute to the well-being of children in Middlesbrough, ensuring a brighter future for those who need it most. Your generosity, no matter the size, will bring happiness to a child's life - and that's what this mission is all about. The happiness and well being of children.
