Support Mike & Monica, a.k.a The Ice Cream Lady

An unimaginable event happened last night as a fire spread at my parent’s house which caused severe damage to their home, and the total loss of Mike’s pickup truck and The Ice Cream Lady’s newest ice cream truck that they have put their blood, sweat, and tears into building over the last year. Thankfully everyone got out safely, but there will be a long road ahead.

Mike and my mom, aka The Ice Cream Lady, are extremely active in the community and you will find them at local events, birthday parties, schools, fundraisers, and more. They are two of the most hardworking, selfless people I know. As the fire consumed their beloved ice cream truck, pickup, and their home, my Mom said to me “I’m so worried about the firefighters I hope they’re going to be okay.” That’s the kind of people they are - always thinking of others.

Now they need your help. Any support you can offer, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated and will provide assistance as they work to recover from the heartbreaking loss that has occurred. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to them so far - friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers. It is comforting knowing there is an amazing support system behind them and that they are not alone through this ordeal.
