Hello everyone, my name is Guadalupe. On June 8th, my family and I were celebrating my graduation. Later on that night, we received the heartbreaking news that no family ever wants to hear about. My mother, Nancy Carolina, was taken from us in a hit-and-run accident. She was only 42 years old. Knowing that I can never hear, hug, or tell her that we love her not only breaks my heart but also my siblings' and our family's. She leaves behind five kids, including myself. My grandparents and I never imagined losing her so soon. Our family is devastated by the sudden loss and the emotional and financial burden it has placed on us.
