Hello my name is Faith De Luna and I am the oldest granddaughter of Maria Francisca Rubio. My grandmother was 66 years old when she lost her battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on May 10th. We had just found out on March 16th that she had this cancer and in no way imagined that this would end her life so soon. Maria was a strong and faithful believer in God and kept true to her Catholic faith. She enjoyed going to church and participating in many ACTS retreats, and spending time with her family. She was a mother to Daniel, Debra, Francisco “Pato”, Anali “nana”. And grandmother to 15 wonderful grandchildren and was soon to be great grandmother to John Paul. she worked very hard for her family, she was a single mother and at times had to work two jobs to support her children. My grandmother was the sweetest, kindest person that you could meet and if you asked anyone they would say the same about her when describing the kind of person she was. She truly had a heart of gold. Due to this unexpected loss of my dear grandmother, my family is humbly asking for your help in trying to respect her wishes to have a full Catholic rosary and burial.
