Support Our Saint Rose Faculty

In Fall 2020, thirty-three tenured and tenure-track faculty at the College of Saint Rose had their positions eliminated. Many are incurring legal fees as part of the faculty review process. To show our support for these faculty, we are setting up this fund to help defray some of their costs. We will be collecting money until April 23rd. 


We invite faculty who have had their positions eliminated and specifically those who are facing legal costs as a result to get in touch with us to let us know that you would like to receive support from this fund. Please let us know by April 23rd. Once we have had an opportunity to tabulate the donations, we will reach out to everyone who has contacted us by that date and distribute the funds--whatever amount that may be.


We hope this will be a meaningful way to support these faculty in such difficult times. One thing that we have always valued about Saint Rose has been the sense of community. As we mourn the potential loss of so many wonderful teachers, scholars, mentors, and colleagues, we hope through this fund to show, to a small degree, our support and care for each other.
