It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Papa Henry, a man who touched countless lives with his unwavering faith, generosity, and infectious spirit. Papa Henry recently lost his courageous battle with cancer, a fight he faced with remarkable strength and grace.

His life was a testament to his strong faith in God and his commitment to serving others. He dedicated countless hours to his church and community, and embodied the true spirit of selflessness and compassion. His warmth, kindness and wisdom made him a cherished friend, a loving husband, and a devoted family man. Papa Henry and Gloria were making plans to celebrate their 51st anniversary. He was adored by peers and children alike, who fondly gave him the name of “Papa Henry.”

He was no stranger to cancer, having survived a previous cancer battle for 27 years. Papa Henry's recent fight was especially challenging, physically, mentally and financially. He endured multiple surgeries, blood transfusions and chemotherapy. The cost of treatment and care was astronomical, placing a significant financial burden on his family. As they navigate this difficult time, we hope to come together to support them in the same way Papa Henry supported us all.
