Support Regina's Life-Saving Surgery Journey

Hello! I am Christine Voss, mother to Regina David, and am so grateful for all of the support and love for my daughter and family! There have been many amazing people asking how they can help, so I am starting this GoFundMe.

Regina was born with DiGeroge Syndrome, which has come with a lifetime of medical issues for her. At 12 years old, Regina has just completed the first part of a very long process to a life-saving surgical procedure. On 06/28/2024, Regina's first procedure consisted of a halo being bolted into her skull in an effort to stretch her body with weights, in preparation for another surgery to replace parts of her spine. The big, life-changing spinal surgery will take place on 08/07/2024.

To support Regina, who is down at Gillette Children's Hospital, any and all financial help will be appreciated! The cost of parking and other needs to get down to the hospital to be with Regina, is very high, and we would also love to be able to get items for Regina to keep her entertained and content while being stuck in the hospital for months. Insurance is only going to cover so much of the cost, and that is another road we will venture down. The future is unknown, as this is going to be a long road of recovery for Regina, which will more than likely require home health care, PT, OT, regular follow up doctor appointments and so on.
