This is a story of a catastrophic life changing event of mental instability and tragic loss

It was your typical Monday afternoon on April 29th 2024, the sun shining, birds chirping, children playing, a typical day in spring. What was once a peaceful day quickly turned into an unforgettable nightmare from the sun shining to guns popping, from birds chirping to people screaming, from children playing to sirens ringing!
In the early hours of April 29th 2024 Ronald was enjoying a beautiful sunny day, with his former partner of 30 years in a home they raised their children in for most of their lives, You could often find Ron fixing odds and ends, maintaining property, and helping his family most of his days were spent along side his two children and his beloved former partner, and his 4 dogs! What was once an ordinary day quickly became a tragic affair! A sorrowful disaster!

At Approximately 2:00 PM on April 29th, Ron His former partner Christine and Christine’s Son Christopher (Ron’s Step Son) Of 38 Long Years, were getting ready to take a ride to a local bank, to deposits money into an account as well as cash a tax return check for rons step son Christopher. What was supposed to be an innocent ride to a local bank instantly turned into a long devastating ride to the trauma unit. Of St Luke’s Hospital tragically succumbed to his life threatening and fatal injuries. The next week following is a blur!

Ronald suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the mouth in the early hours of April 29th, the bullet entering his oral cavity and exiting the back of his neck causing severe trauma to his cervical spine and eternal damage to his occiput. Ron in complete cardiac arrest doctors rush to revive him. He was brought back to life in the late hours of April 29th now shot and clinging onto life he lies hopelessly on a bed in the trauma unit of the 4th floor in the intensive care unit of St Lukes Hospital. Swelling at an all time high and internal bleeding setting in his expectancy of survival was low. Hope was all we had left. The following next two days was most important.

Doctors rush to get swelling down, and bleeding to stop. What was an impossible task. Healthcare providers insert a tube that’s connected to a machine through Ron’s tracheal allowing oxygen through his lungs. Ron was on life support for the following next five days !

Results show trauma to the central nervous system in simpler terms the brain stem. Thus controlling all functions of the human body brainstems help regulate functions, including your breathing and heart rate. The brainstem also controls your balance, coordination and reflexes. Keeping Ron in a vegetated state. Damage was made from C1-C7 of Ron’s cervical spine. the cervical spine also contains several nerves that control different movements and muscles:
* C1, C2, and C3: Controls forward, backward, and side head and neck movements
* C4: Controls upward shoulder motion and some shoulder movement
* C5: Controls the deltoid muscles of the shoulders and the biceps
* C6: Controls the extensor muscles of the wrist and is involved in the control of the biceps
* C7: Controls the triceps and wrist extensor muscles
Cervical segment can result in paralysis of the chest, arms, and legs also known as (QUADRIPLEGIA).

the mortality rate during the initial hospitalization was 9.87%, and 30-day mortality was 14.4%. Ron with intense numerological impairment had a small chance of survival!
