Support Salmon Creek Cafe

Hi Neighbors!!

If you've already discovered Salmon Creek Cafe, then you likely already know how great their food is! You've also probably met one of the owners, EJ and Doug.  In the last couple of years of going to eat at the Cafe we have come to call EJ and Doug friends. We've been impressed with how hard they have worked to get their cafe going.

They had been investing into their business for 2 years and had just started to see their business really pick up when COVID hit. Since then, with all of the forced restaurant closures, they've gotten creative with new take-out menus and have still seen some support from the community, but since so many people are still not going out to eat, their business has taken a significant hit.

More recently, Washington state again ordered restaurants to close, but allowed outdoor seating, so EJ went to work with getting an outdoor dining space going. Just as she got the permits and they were getting things set up, they had problems with vandals comming by and moving things around- and now we just got word that the tents have been stolen completely.

EJ and Doug have kept a great attitude through all of this, but it's clear that they have really been impacted- and then it's such an awful thing to see these wonderful people be kicked with theft when they have already been hit with so much. We want to raise money for them to help them recover from the setbacks in loss of business, the theft, and help them try an outdoor area again with enough money for fencing and security.

This holiday season, please consider helping these wonderful business owners in our community get through these trying times. Even if you choose not to make a donation, remember to go try a take-out order from them, or order one of their delicious pies or cakes for your holiday dinners!!
