Support Sarah in Fulfilling Kimberly's Farewell

My name is Sarah Larson and my mother is Kimberly June Larson. On June 11th, 2024, I discovered her unconscious in her bedroom. She was rushed to RiverBend hospital after they managed to get a faint pulse. We weren't given much news at first, just that they needed to hook her up to an EEG and monitor her brain activity. After 72 hours, they wanted to have a meeting with us. In that meeting, they basically explained she went without oxygen for too long and most of her brain had died. The only piece still working was her brain stem, which is what keeps you breathing.

As of last night or today, she was taken off the ventilator, and they are just waiting for her to stop breathing. Her wishes were to be cremated and I know how expensive that is. We were also going to have a wake or a celebration of life, but my sister and I don't have the funds especially because this was so sudden and unexpected. I'm 8 and 1/2 months pregnant, getting ready to have my first child, and my sister has a five-year-old and a 10-month-old. We are just trying to make it by and to give my mom her last wishes.
