Scott Rosenbaum's Fight for Life Fundraiser

I'm raising funds for my dear friends Ramon and Scotti, who is fighting for his life.

 

Ramon (left) and Scotti (right) are two of the kindest, most generous people I've ever known. No one should have to worry about how to pay for lifesaving medical care while in the midst of caring for their loved one, or fighting for their life. Won't you join me in helping alleviate some of their burden with the cost of mounting hospital bills?

In March Scotti suffered a stroke and a silent heart attack that left his left side with limited mobility and his speech impaired. It has been a long hard road, and he is still fighting. After being postponed several times due to pneumonia, Scotti underwent open heart surgery on August 2nd and has been in and out of the ICU for varying complications since then. Most recently, he had surgery to repair his sternum which had perforated. This surgery went well, but he has lost a lot of ground physically. Scotti is still in ICU today because he is unable to get his lungs clear enough to allow him to recover fully. Once he is out of ICU and his lungs are clear enough for him to be moved the next steps will be to move to a rehab facility where they will work on getting his strength back in his arms and legs after being in the hospital for more than 55 days now. Scotti's husband, Ramon, has been to the hospital every day to be with him, while working a full time job and preparing to move to a new home at the end of fall.
