Support Tedra in Honoring JayQuan's Memory

Hello name is Tedra Brown, It is with sadness that I come to you pleading for assistance to bury my 16 year old son, JayQuan Milik Lamar Brown who loss his life due to gun violence. My son was a sophomore at St. John's High School on Johns Island, where he diligently made good grades, served in the JROTC and had plans of serving our country. JayQuan went to visit with his cousins on Saturday to assist an elderly move. They walked over to the gas station, when a random car drove up and someone began shooting. Unfortunately, my son and his friend were shot. My son succumbed to the gun shot wound and passed away on May 25th. It is unfathomable to have lost my child. It is even more painful as a young mother, I did not have life insurance on my son. Therefore, I do not have the funds to give him a proper burial. I am pleading with all mother's to please purchase life insurance on your children. I never wanted this to be my predicament, and I would never wish this on another parent. Please, if you can find it in your heart, please help me. I am an employed single mother of four. Please learn from my mistakes, be sure you all insure your child(dren). I am grateful for your prayers and thoughtfulness as I prepare to bury my son. This journey will be long as I grieve but I am trusting in God for strength. Again, I thank you so much for your outpouring of love and support.
