Support the Elizabeth and Uhai centre in Tanzania
Donation protected
Five months ago, I was contacted by Reaching Peeks, together with another 18, at that time still unknown colleagues, to embark on a fantastic adventure: climbing the impressive Kilimanjaro, with an altitude of 5,895 meters. We have started to count down because on October 2nd, we will travel to Tanzania! This trip is not only a personal challenge physically and mentally, but also an opportunity to draw attention to social issues.
Tanzania is known for its tourist attractions such as large game parks and beautiful beaches in the state of Zanzibar. But there is also another story: tireless Tanzanians struggle daily against poverty and food shortages. At the foot of the mountain is the Florentina Foundation's Elizabeth and Uhai Centre: a beacon of hope for Masai children and young, single women in terms of education, shelter and training.
The center’s food program focuses on fighting hunger and creating a self-sufficient community so they are less dependent on donations. We are determined to contribute to this inspiring program and our mission during our visit to the center is to support it by planting trees and purchasing crops and livestock.
If you want to contribute to a green and food-rich future for the local community, you too can help. Every euro counts and every euro can already make a difference. Help us support the Elizabeth and Uhai centre with items or a donation. Follow this link to go to the donation page. During our visit on October 3rd, we will hand over the amount raised to the Elizabeth Centre.
Thank you so much for your help!
