Support the Gallardo Ricalday Family in Grief
Dear Friends and family,
It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of Adan Gallardo, who was taken from us much too soon after a brief and unforeseen 1.5 month battle with cancer.
Adan is Graciela's and Gregorio's middle child. He was a driven, kind and free spirit. He was an Eagleton baby for all of elementary school and then returned last year as a custodian as he finished up welding school. He had started his career in welding at the age of 19 and was getting job offers to work in different locations. He had his dream job. In June, while working in a different state, he was told by doctors that he had cancer and needed to take action immediately. He decided to come back home to Colorado so that his family would be with him every step of the way. He fought hard after two surgeries. He spent his last days in and out of the hospital. He went through one round of chemotherapy and unfortunately, it did not take. He passed unexpectedly at home.
Their loss has left an immense void in the hearts of all who knew him. The unexpected nature of Adan's diagnosis and passing has left this giving family struggling with medical bills, funeral expenses, and other unforeseen costs during this difficult time. We are reaching out to our community to provide support and relief to the Gallardo Ricalday family. Your contributions will go directly towards covering these expenses and helping them navigate the financial burdens that accompany such a sudden loss. Any amount you can contribute will make a meaningful difference.
Sincerely,
Carolina, on behalf of the Gallardo/ Ricalday Family
