Support Seth: Aid Needed for Accident Recovery

Dear friends, family and CNY community,

My name is Lily Grenis, I'm a student in the Syracuse area and I need your help supporting two dear friends of mine. On Friday, September 13, my friend Seth Scott got in a horrific motorcycle accident on his way to work. His injuries were extensive and he was rushed into emergency surgery at Upstate Hospital. He remains in the hospital with his fiancé Victoria, one of my closest friends, by his side. He will be hospitalized for an indefinite period of time and is not expected to walk for at least six weeks. His medical bills will be significant.

Anybody who knows Seth can attest that he has the kindest heart and gentlest spirit. He is a friend to all creatures great and small with a habit of bringing home injured critters in shoeboxes. He is a devoted partner of 8 years to Victoria, an attentive son and grandson, a loving nephew and cousin, and the favorite human of three very special cats. Seth works as an automotive body technician, and it is unclear if/when he will be able to return to his job in a full capacity. Victoria plans to support him as much as she can, and she likely will be out of work herself. As a young couple and first-time homeowners with student debt, they will need as much help as we can provide them with.
