Please help us in supporting the Sifuentes family during this difficult time. Hi there, I'm Shauna and I'm so grateful that you have stopped by this fundraising page. Over the last 8 months our family has endured countless medical challenges from myself being diagnosed with Stage 3 Uterine cancer in July of 2022. I had many complications with treatment but I have finally completed radiation. I'm still currently getting chemo treatments at this time. I have been put on medical leave until at least July of this year. My husband Jose was admitted to the ER on March 8th of this year with a severe case of CDIFF. He got this as a side affect from the antibiotics he was prescribed for a sinus infection last month. He nearly died from the CDIFF infection. He was placed in the ICU. They did a fecal transfer to try to help the infection improve but it's going to be a very long road ahead for him. It majorly affected his body and is currently on oxygen and breathing treatments. He is currently on a liquid diet because his body cannot handle solids yet. He may have to be placed in a rehab facility to complete his treatment for this. He was the bread winner for our family and we found out today that he does not have disability insurance through work. So all we have to live on right now is my small disability check to pay our everyday living expenses.

We also have 2 teenage children to provide care for too. We have medical insurance to pay most of the medical bills. If we do not receive some kind of help we are in danger of becoming homeless and loosing our car.
