Taz's Brown Recluse Spider bite Medical Bills

Taz was bitten by a venomous Brown Recluse Spider on the morning of 12/13/18. He has seen a vet 11 times since the morning of 12/14/18 and he will potentially need another 5-10 vet visits over the next month depending on how the wound heals. (There are graphic photos attached below)

His vet bills are at $3,628 right now and it is expected to be $4,000-$5,000 by the end of his treatment. His emergency surgery alone on 12/15/18 was $1100 and he has needed to go to the vet for sedation bandage changes twice a day since then, with each of those visits costing between $250-300 depending on if if he is seeing the afterhours/emergency vet or my primary vet. His would turned necrotic due to the venom of the spider and has been slowly sloughing off, leaving a deep wound on his back left foot. 


I’m at the point where my savings account is totally drained and I can no longer afford these extensive vet fees anymore as I live paycheck to paycheck. But, I can’t give up on saving his leg from being amputated since we’ve already come so far. If run out of money, amputation is the only other option. If I have to amputate, that means our lifestyle is going to have to change... I can no longer hike, paddle board, or run with him to the extent I used to. His lifespan would also be shortened due to the fact he is 100lbs and it would put a strain on the rest of his body to support that weight as a tripod dog. He’d still be a happy go lucky spazzy tazzy, but no longer able to enjoy adventures with me. 

If you know me, you know that Taz is not just a dog, he’s my world. He's literally 90% of my happiness balled up into one crazypup and I want to be able to give him the best care possible. I'm not asking for help in covering all of his medical bills... I'd just like to be able to keep seeing the vet as often as needed to save his leg from amputation. If his wound gets infected, it's game over because I cannot afford to keep paying the high price of the vet's office fees.
