Hi, my name is Patty Demers and I am Donna Curry's sister.

Many of you may already know that Donna is facing a Bone Marrow Transplant in April at the Mayo Hospital in Phoenix. Our brother Michael Rioux was recently approved to be her donor. This amazing blessing from our Lord comes with many needs and preparations.

FIRST PHASE OF TRANSPLANT: Donna and Michael are both preparing for the transplant procedure; physically, emotionally, and financially. Michael's stay in the hospital can be up to 10 days and Donna's stay is 3-5 weeks.

SECOND PHASE OF TRANSPLANT: Donna is facing 3 months of 24-hour care once she leaves the hospital. David Curry, Donna's husband is often traveling from northern Arizona to Phoenix and juggles between work, home, and medical visits in support of all of Donna's immediate needs. Michael and Cindy are leaving their home behind and will be her full-time caregivers during the healing process. Because of this round-the-clock care, the optimal setting for both couples is to rent a home next to the Mayo Hospital, where Donna is positioned for emergencies and medical assistance.
