Terry Meyerhoffer - Wheelchair, ramp, home access

Donation protected
Hello. One of our classmates from the class of 1978 ACHS, recently had to have his right leg removed due to complications from diabetes. As his classmates, and not feeling that we are all that old, would like to raise the money needed to get him a power wheelchair. This particular is actually a heavy-duty chair that is usually provided to our vets. This is a $40,000 chair with lift and tilt and very rugged. It is also less than a year old and works great. But for where Terry lives, he needs something that is sturdy and will hold up. We can get the chair for $3500.00. We are also attempting to raise enough money to build a ramp for him to be able to get up to his front door and enter his home. We would like to keep his as independent as possible. All things considered; he is in good spirits. I have known Terry since about 1970 and he has always been a fighter, and he is not giving up now. Along with his girlfriend, various Pastors, and his friends, everyone is doing what they can to help him keep his positive attitude. For how generous a person that Terry is, I am hoping and praying that everyone that reads this is just as generous in return to help our friend. Thank you, in advance for any and all help.
