Help Kelly (Keleigh) Drive Again

Hi everyone, my name is Amber Grothman. I’ve made this GoFundMe account for my dear friend, Kelly (many of us call her Keleigh!), who is in great need after her car was totaled in July 2022. She was caught in the middle of a 4-car pile-up on a major Tampa highway. Thankfully, Kelly made it out with minor injuries, but unfortunately, the at-fault driver had very little insurance to cover all four vehicles in the crash.

Since then, Kelly has been carless and forced to quit her job across Tampa Bay, where she has worked for 15 years as a veterinary medical scribe. She has an 8-year-old daughter, Kyndal, who needs transportation, and Kelly also owns a pet care business on the side which has been challenging to maintain without a car.

On a personal note, I met Kelly through my cat’s (Romeo) veterinary clinic. She cared for him through the 2.5 years he suffered from kidney failure and eventually passed peacefully. Those extra years I got with Romeo are all thanks to Kelly, and I would pay for my dear friend’s car if I could.

Please help Kelly purchase another car so she can get back to work, supporting her daughter and caring for our pets all over the Tampa region. She is a really good person and did not deserve this. Thank you so much for considering.
