The House That Jack Built

Hi!

We are the Jackfruit flute quintet, a collection of passionate flute students from the University of Queensland. We have recently been offered the rare (and exciting!) opportunity to perform at the upcoming Australian Flute Festival in Sydney this September. The experience gained from this opportunity would be invaluable to us as aspiring musicians.

Unfortunately, this trip will have to be self-funded. As full-time hardworking students, we are finding it difficult to match the required costs. To make ends meet, we need more than just support from parents and friends.

You’d be helping the UQ flautists with living and transport costs, as well as entry to the national flute festival itself. We’d really appreciate any help to make this journey that little bit easier. Your contributions, no matter how small, will go a long way towards making this happen.
