The Poff family needs your help!

Hello my name is Ashley and my husband an I are making this gofundme for my lifelong friends Nick, Tamra, their daughter Brooklyn, and twin boys Finn and Sawyer Poff. On May 26th Nick had a traumatic accident where he had an undiagnosed syncope episode and he hit his head so hard he had trauma and bleeding on the brain. He was rushed to Lawnwood Medical Center and put in the ICU. Nick fractured his C1 and C2 vertebrae in his neck and had various abrasions that required staples. Nick was minimally responsive and it was very scary 48hrs. Nick was the sole provider for the family as they have twin toddlers and Tamra is home providing for them. Nick was in ICU for days and thankfully he is now home with his family with a long road of recovery ahead. Nick has to go for scans every week to monitor his brain. He is stuck in a hard collar and can’t lift more than 5lbs. Nick is dizzy all the time and gets migraines/nausea, and blurred vision. He has trouble sleeping due to his neck being in a fixed position. Tamra has gone back to work to help during this time but the medical bills are piling up. Childcare is astronomical, and not in the equation. Thankfully family has stepped in to help with the boys during this time. Brooklyn is in college but home for the summer and helping as she can as well. This is a family who would give you their last dollar and never expect anything in return. Right now is very difficult for them mentally, physically, and financially. I promise they would be appreciative of any help you could give. Nick is unable to work and we are unsure for how long as he recovers. Tamra is limited in how much she can work with the babies at home. They are in desperate need of help between food, gas, medical bills, lost wages, and medications as they navigate this tough journey. Every penny counts and I can’t think of more deserving people.
