The Long Walk

Donation protected
There's alot of talk nowadays of what is right and what is wrong, what's politically correct and whats incorrect. But this walk, that my brother and I are about to undertake, has nothing to do politics or media exposure or recognition. This walk is about two Marines, and their service dogs, trying to cope with living in the civilian world. This walk is about stepping away from the normality of civilian life and confronting PTSD by taking a Long Walk and dealing with the issues facing GWOT Veterans. This walk is about finding answers in ourselves, answers we haven't found in any group therapy session, a range, or in the bottom of a bottle. This walk is about locating, closing with, and destroying the enemy.

The Long Walk will begin at the Liberty Bell and end at the World Trade Center. The Liberty Bell is a symbol of Freedom, Liberty and everything it is to be an American. The events of September 11th are the reason that many of us are the way we are today. Ending this mission at the site where the American way of life was attacked and our future changed forever. We will be living off of the land, bivouacing at the days end wherever it may be.
