Toddler Twin Jack Battling Terminal Brain Cancer

Donation protected
It’s every parent’s worst nightmare—the thought of losing your precious child. Unfortunately for my little sister, Brianna, this nightmare is impossible to wake up from. No matter how desperately she tries.

Brianna (a physician assistant & single mother) got a call from Jack’s daycare saying he was experiencing tremors while trying to eat his morning snack. One MRI later that day and Brianna’s world (& ours) is forever changed in the worst possible way. Jack was diagnosed with a DIPG which is a rare, fast-growing tumor on the brain stem. The location of the tumor makes surgery impossible and leaves Jack with a devastating prognosis (weeks to months left to grace us with his juicy kisses and thunderous belly laugh).

Brianna has always wanted to be a mom. God blessed her with twin boys, Jack and Aidan in Feb 2020. They had complications at birth and spent their first three weeks tied to cords in the NICU. Now, Brianna’s sweet, gentle, smart, & goofy Jack finds himself again in the hospital, tied to cords. Between Jack’s huge, easy smile, his bright blue eyes, and his natural charm, he effortlessly melts even the coldest heart.

I am so proud of my nephew for the indomitable spirit he’s displayed during this literal fight for his life. And the strength my baby sister has been able to muster in order to comfort her first born (by 15 minutes) has humbled me to my core.

Jack’s twin, Aidan, misses his brother (& his mother) terribly while they’re stuck in the hospital. It’s evident that the boys have that special “twin” bond we’re always hearing about. They’ll wrestle each other like alligators, antagonize the snot out of each other, but then come together and be the very best playmates and support system for one other. It’s impossible to think of Jack & Aidan not being able to grow up together. They’re inseparable.

My intention with creating a GoFund Me page is to try to help my little sister with the mounting medical bills. She is facing the worst moment of her life and all of us who love her, Jack, & Aidan feel absolutely helpless. If you are in a position where you can donate something (anything), it would be GREATLY appreciated. If you cannot donate at this time, I ask that you please say a prayer for our angel Jack, his twin Aidan, and their beautiful mama. May God bless them and may God bless you & yours.
