Together for Change: Remembering Jett's Light

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Linda. I am the aunt to Jett Nathaniel Prince, who passed unexpectedly on the morning of September 24, 2024. He had just turned 21 on Sept. 15th. He was found deceased from an apparent accidental overdose of some laced pills he had recently acquired. He was a great kid, an old soul that cherished his friendships from grade school to now. He loved our crazy family and never left without a hug and an 'I love you.' He made it a priority to be at all the family gatherings as he cherished time with his cousins, as he was an only child.

Jett recently graduated from Lineman School in April. We were so proud of him as he worked hard for this. He had goals, he had plans, he was loved by so many friends and family.

Life wasn’t always fair to him as he lost his mother at an early age, but he worshipped his father and my sister “Sue Sue,” as he called her. She has spent her entire life helping to raise him, love him unconditionally, and support him in anything and everything he wanted to do. He loved his other grandma, Beth, with his whole heart as well and always made an effort to spend time with her and look out for her.

  • I am starting this fund for my sister and her family. Working as an RN my entire life, my mission was to save people, which is heart-wrenching that I couldn’t be there to save him.
  • Jett was a great kid that just happened to make the wrong decision by buying street pills that cost him his life.
  • As we all know, this pandemic of opiates laced with Fentanyl has killed so many innocent kids. I vow not to let Jett’s memory be forgotten.
  • I am setting this up for my sister and his father in hopes we can use this to help others. We cannot bring our Jett back, but we try and save others from this horrible situation. We know Jett is in Heaven with his mom now, and we await the day in which we join him. Until then, I promise we are on a mission to help the kids in our area so no other family has to experience this heartbreaking pain we are feeling.
