Together for Myra, After the Fire

Hello, my name is Angela and I am a zookeeper in NYC. I am here to raise funds to support my coworker, Myra. Myra and her 2 children lost all of their belongings in a building fire yesterday, which started in a laundromat below her apartment in Brooklyn, then spread to the 3 stories above it. Thankfully, Myra and her family are safe, but their apartment is uninhabitable and they can use all possible help at this time.

Let me tell you a few things about Myra. She is an extremely compassionate person who always brings positive energy to the workplace. She cares about everyone equally and always goes out of her way to make the workday brighter. If we see freshly cut flowers in a vase in the break room, we know that Myra was there. She is all about bringing good vibes. I think that we can all agree with how important it is to have that in a work environment. Myra is an extremely hard worker who has 2 jobs, 7 days a week, to support her family. Your donation will be going to a very good person who would support others in this type of situation without hesitation. Every little bit helps, even if it’s simply taking a moment to share this fundraiser.
