Help Tommy Recover After Life-Altering Accident
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
We come to you today with heavy hearts to share the story of our beloved friend, Tommy Klopcic, 34, who recently experienced a life-altering bike accident. On the morning of May 19th, while commuting to work on a familiar trail near the Quad City Botanical Center, Tommy's world was turned upside down. We now rally together to support Tommy, his wife Monique, and their beautiful two-month-old son Henry during this incredibly challenging time.
How You Can Help:
Today, we stand together to support Tommy, Monique, and Henry in their time of need. We humbly ask for your generosity and compassion to help alleviate their financial burdens and provide a solid foundation as Tommy embarks on his recovery journey. Our goal is to raise $50,000, which will be utilized to cover extensive medical costs, necessary treatments, and basic living expenses during this critical period.
Your contribution, no matter the amount, will make a tremendous difference. Let's join forces and rally around Tommy, Monique, and Henry, demonstrating the power of community and love.
If you prefer to donate via another platform, you can also find Monique on Venmo at Monique-Klopcic or by searching her phone number.
Tommy's Journey:
When the accident occurred, Tommy was wearing his helmet, a testament to his commitment to safety. However, the impact resulted in fractures of his maxillary and nasal bones, accompanied by a traumatic brain injury known as DAI. He was rushed to the hospital, where Monique and baby Henry were called upon to identify him as he carried no identification. The days that followed were filled with uncertainty and fear, as Tommy remained in a medically induced coma, his condition evolving under the diligent care of the medical team.
Tommy's Progress:
We are relieved to share that Tommy has shown remarkable strength and resilience. Despite the severity of his injuries, he has been making strides day by day, progressing from a Level 4 Ranchos Los Amigos scale to Level 6. This progress fills us with hope, knowing that Tommy's tenacity and youth are working in his favor. However, there is a long road ahead, and Tommy's journey to recovery will require ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and support.
Financial Strain:
Adding to the challenges that Tommy and his family face, he had just accepted a promotion at work mere hours before the accident. Now, instead of celebrating his career milestone, he confronts the harsh reality of long-term disability. Monique, a loving mother to baby Henry, is currently on maternity leave, leaving the family burdened by extreme financial strain. The mounting medical expenses and the uncertainty of Tommy's future create a weight that no family should bear alone.
Tommy's Spirit and Aspirations:
Tommy is more than a dear friend; he is a pillar of strength, a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, and an inspiring teacher. As a Chiropractic Doctor at Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa, he has touched countless lives, helping patients on their path to wellness. Tommy finds joy in simple pleasures, like riding his bike, completing a challenging 100-mile race, or savoring a cup of coffee or a craft beer. He is a man of passion and determination, always aspiring to be the best Chiropractor he can be, all while cherishing the gift of fatherhood and the opportunity to watch Henry grow.
Closing Words:
Thank you from the depths of our hearts for your unwavering love, support, and generosity. Together, we can help Tommy overcome this life-altering accident and provide hope for a brighter future. Please share this campaign with your networks, spreading the word far and wide.
Tommy's journey to recovery begins with all of us standing by his side. Let's be the force that carries him through this challenging chapter and guides him toward a renewed life filled with joy, healing, and endless possibilities.
With heartfelt gratitude,
