From Tramia "Hey everyone! I wanted to share some exciting updates with you as the journey continues. We were notified last week that my brother, Tramond matched as a donor for me ! I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I don’t have the words to express my level of appreciation. He flies in this week from Texas to complete his series of test with the transplant being scheduled for July 12th. I am being admitted to the hospital on July 7th where I will be for at least a month. During this period I will receive extremely high doses of chemotherapy. Three very new and different treatments that I am being given. I also will receive doses of medications to prevent infections , specifically Graft vs. Host disease, one of the biggest complications to transplants. After I am discharged, the recovery period is 100! During this period I’ll be back in my bubble to lower my risks of infections. Please keep myself and my family in your prayers. This isn’t an easy journey nor will it be an easy recovery. I am currently on leave of absence from work and only receiving short term disability payments each month. Donations to my fund will go towards my monthly expenses as well as medical expenses that continue to add up, even with insurance.
I appreciate all the kind words of encouragement, endless prayers, support, and monitory donations. If you prefer to send directly to me I’ve added all my payment services"
