Matthew will become financially stable again!

Matthew Ford’s body had first gone into septic shock in 2013.

There is no cure yet for sepsis. Sepsis had also been called, “blood poisoning.” Sepsis is the body’s overwhelming and life-threatening response to infection, which can lead to tissue damage, organ failure, and death. Sepsis kills 350,000 adults each year in the United States of America. (https://www.sepsis.org/)

Matthew’s sepsis is presently being managed with medical care through the Johns Hopkins Hospital and a number of other medical facilities.

He receives disability benefits including Medicare and Medicaid health insurance, and nutritional assistance. These benefits are not sufficient to fulfill his basic needs.
In 2018 Matthew's health problems worsened and led to multiple reoccurring hospital visits. He must periodically be admitted into the John Hopkins Hospital and receive care closer to his home in NC going forward in order to manage sepsis.

We seek donations to maintain the vehicle so that Matthew can continue to drive himself as his health concerns are addressed.

We feel grateful for one-time donations and additional sponsors to contribute monthly until the needed funds are raised.

God Bless!
