the Masanko family

As a colleague and friend of Denise and the Masanko family, I have had the privilege of experiencing what true friendship looks like. I know firsthand that Denise would give all she could and help in any way she knew, never asking for anything in return.
Victor was so proud to be a positive influence on his young hockey players. He devoted seventeen years to the NJ Youth Devils Organization and other youth organizations to help mold and guide young children through sports. Vic, a devoted father and husband, stood by his wife as she prepared for battle when diagnosed with breast cancer. Vic continued to support his family and others as his wife fought for her life. When Vic was diagnosed with cancer, Denise provided for her boys and Vic, working multiple jobs and going above and beyond for those she loves. They battled privately and used humor and perseverance to work through all obstacles thrown their way.
Vic has battled cancer valiantly but has been called home. With family by his side, Vic passed away this morning. The Masanko family, out of character, needs to ask for help. If there were some other way, Denise would have done it. Anyone that knows her knows she hates to ask. Still, the Masanko family needs their angels to help them get through the most challenging part of this journey as they prepare to memorialize and send their beloved husband and father to heaven.
At this time, the Masanko family needs help with non-covered medical expenses, daily necessities, and to cover funeral costs. Please find it in your heart to donate. Help our friends in their time of need, so they can focus on healing with each other instead of worrying about finances. With humbled hearts and gratitude, thank you!
