Help me get to the 2023 World Scout Jamboree!

Hi, my name is Kate.

 

I have been selected to go to the 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea in August 2023.

 

In total there will be over 40,000 young people from across the globe gathering, with a further 20,000 volunteers to deliver the event.

 

Just 100 Guides from the UK are going to this worldwide event, that has been held regularly for a century now. I am the only Guide from Cambridgeshire to be going to this Jamboree.

 

However, I need your support to get there!

 

The 25th World Scout Jamboree will be held from 1 to 12 August in 2023 in SaeManGeum, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea. It will give me the chance to take part in this educational programme with young people from all over the world, to develop friendships and focus on global peace, unity and sustainability.

 

I have to raise £4,000 to cover my costs (including travel expenses, accommodation, training camps) and also funds I will use to offset the carbon it will generate.
