UCLA Infantile Spasms Research
Donation protected
Our son Maverick has been through a tough journey with infantile spasms. He was diagnosed at 6 months and has gone through countless medicinal cocktails and 3 brain surgeries. Our neurologist at UCLA (Dr. Hussain) is leading the charge worldwide for this specific type of epilepsy through research and trials. We just did an podcast with him on Group Chat that explains a bit about the difficulties with diagnosis and how this form of epilepsy is quite rare and can be incredibly devastating to kids. Please take a listen for more info!
Our family has become incredibly involved over the past few years in raising money for this very under funded disease that is affecting more than 200 kids a month in the US alone. We’re both trying to raise awareness and donations to help get funding and eyes on this condition so any amount big or small or even sharing his story is so greatly appreciated. We are so grateful for anything. We have such an amazing community and know we can make a difference. Sending so much love to you all for taking the time to read this!
