An Unexpected Death of Yonas Worku

Yonas Worku died on Saturday the 1st of February 2020 in a tragic multi-vehicle accident when the fuel tanker he was driving rolled over and caught fire on Highway I-85 North in Gwinnett County Georgia.

Yonas was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on June 21st 1975. He attended his secondary education at Bole High School, and later Addis Ababa University Building College. He learned and worked many trades before his untimely death.

He is survived by his wife Eden Tesfaye Woldegebrel, his three children Yadel (age 8), Herani (age 5) and Abem (age 3), his parents, his four brothers and one sister. He also leaves behind many who esteemed his friendship. A beloved father and a wonderful husband. A rock to his family. A wise man beyond his age, who always put the needs of others before his own.
