The Vision
We aim to launch a multi-ethnic worship collective right here in Champaign, IL.
We’re pulling together standout talent from Christians in the area to produce our first project, a live-recorded concert on the 28th, which will be subsequently released on YouTube. We believe this concert will be a powerful testament to the unity in the church, and will serve as a launchpad for a new worship movement in the area.
This YouTube video Universal Worship made went viral when it was released in 2022.
The Event
Our first event will be a live-recorded worship concert at Meadowbrook Community Church on April 28th. Doors open at 5:00pm. The concert will feature singing in English, French, and Lingala, and the debut of an original song.
Recording and producing a live concert is not easy, but we’ve already accomplished so much!
- We pulled together a talented team of musicians from Meadowbrook Community Church, their French ministry, and other churches in the area.
- We rehearsed and recorded three songs - We had those three songs professionally mixed and mastered.
- We have access to the Universal Worship Youtube channel, which already has 50k subscribers Our next step is to host the concert event, then edit and publish the videos for the songs.
- This is where we need your support - for the videotaping, post-production, and release!
- note: We've added $200 to the total to cover the costs of t-shirts and added print materials.
