Urgent: Help Moataz and his family living in the Gaza Strip

My name is Moataz Baroud, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family of ten. I am trying to help care for multiple children and my elderly parents, who suffer from chronic illnesses. We desperately need medication and care that we can’t access due to exorbitant prices and the ongoing blockade.

Our lives were once filled with hope and happiness, but everything changed on October 7 when our home was severely damaged in a bombing. We fled and were displaced multiple times, where we faced unimaginable hardships, living in a tent without clean water or nutritious food. The constant threat of bombing makes every moment a struggle. Life is like an endless nightmare, very difficult and scary. We regularly have to take cover from shelling and artillery, but there is truly no safe place.

We have faced tremendous loss of family and friends. Our dreams have been destroyed. I urge you, dear donors, to be the lifeline for my family during this desperate time. Your support will help us secure food, water, and medicine to survive in Gaza. We are truly grateful for every act of kindness and thank you from the bottom of our hearts to those with compassion and humanity.
