Help Vince Join Amna In Bahrain

Vince and Nams -  the two bestest friends that anyone could have.

As you may know, yesterday I was refused Permanent Residency in Canada.  What you may not know is how devastating this is for me.  After 8 years of learning, working, laughing and loving in this beautiful country, I have learned that due to "insufficient Canadian work experience" my time here has come to an abrupt end.  In two weeks.  

This means that in the next 14 days I have to:
Buy a ticket and fly back to the Middle East ($2000+).
Say goodbye to every amazing person  (you, you and YOU) I've had the truest HONOUR of meeting over the past almost-decade.
Pack up, sell, and get rid of all of my belongings (by far the easiest part).
Find a new roommate to take over my room as well as pay rent for February though I will not be here. (I can't leave my roommate Bren in the lurch like that.  He's awesome.  You should totally live with him).
And finally...

...I have to decide what to do with Vince.

You know him.  You love him...or he creeps you out.  He's the best thing about my days, he's the apple of my eye.  He's my ferret.

I have contacted a service that can take Vince through from Canada all the way to Bahrain so we can still hang out and be best buds.  The cost of this service is $3000US.

This is where I kill my ego, admit that I cannot do this alone, and ask for help.

I could make the rounds for commisserative beer, but if you feel for my situation, showing support by channelling those beer funds into ferret funds would make my heart sing.  Sharing this gofundme with friends and family - that would also be so uplifting for me.

I'm trying to stay strong in the wake of hitting bottom.  I'm losing my home, the country that I have fallen head over heels in love with, and the ability to be close to all of you amazing souls who have made my home and my heart beat so vibrantly for the past 8 years.  I cannot do this alone.
