Help my parents recover from fire

Dear Friends,

On Sunday morning, my parents' apartment was destroyed in an electrical fire that started in the unit above theirs.  It is possible they may be able to salvage some items from the apartment, but most of what they owned was destroyed either in the fire or by smoke, water, and flame retardant chemicals that the fire department had to use. They have a long road ahead of them to replace what they lost, and I've told them I want to set up this site to ask for donations from friends who are able to help a little.   I completely understand that not every friend is in a position to donate, and we also appreciate all the good thoughts and caring concern that is coming our way.  For those who are, we would be appreciative of any amount.  Thank you so much in advance, friends!
