In Loving Memory of Veronica Parker

Veronica Parker, a cherished member of our Metro 135 Barrie family, tragically passed away along with her partner Robert MacDonald on November 1, 2024. Veronica began her journey with the company as a student at Miracle Food Mart in Barrie in February 1990, working in the Deli department. She transferred to the Orillia A&P in 1993, continuing her dedicated service. In 2014, Veronica took on a full-time position at the Collingwood Metro, and in 2018, she joined Metro Barrie as the Assistant Deli Manager. Veronica was well-liked and greatly appreciated by both customers and her colleagues. Her sense of humor, quick wit, and unwavering dedication made her a beloved team member. She is deeply missed by all of us who had the pleasure of working with her at Metro.

Veronica is survived by her three loving daughters' Bronte (22), Kiera (20), Tiffany (17). All funds donated will be used to support her three daughters. Our condolences go out to Veronica’s and Robert's families and everyone who loved them.
