Team Timmy

Tim Daniels, our son, brother, brother in law and father of two is battling the disease of his life, amyloidosis. Amyloidosis is a rare blood disorder, an acquired metabolic disease that involves abnormal deposits of amyloid proteins in the large organs and/or tissues of the body and causes the large organs to malfunction. Tim is 49 years old and his form of amyloidosis is AL, such that the occurrence is 1 in 100,000 people acquire his form of amyloidosis. Medical treatment for Tim thus far has been rigorous and costly. Out of pocket expenses have sky rocketed and this is why we are starting an on line donation effort to support Tim and his efforts to beat this disease. Tim has a long road ahead of him with stem cell harvesting, chemotherapy, reimplantation of stem cells and one year of maintenance chemotherapy. At this time, Tim is off work from Bemis Clysar because of treatment demands and weakness. Any donation, small or large will be much appreciated to support him and to help him out financially.
